Role Description:
Job Title:- Modern Apprentice – Field Wireless Engineer
Location:- Fife – with travel throughout Scotland/UK/Further Afield
Purpose of the job:-

Working with a fully qualified engineer, you will gain incredible on the job experience in a true telecommunications business, working with some innovative cutting edge technology, whilst gaining a formal qualification which underpins the skills and knowledge you will gain.
Main Duties:-
Modern Apprentice will gain experience in the following:
•Fixed Wireless Access (FWA), both Point to Point, Point to Multipoint & MESH Solutions.
•Experience in Wi-Fi / WLAN Solutions.
•Experience in IP Networking.
•Team Working.
•Customer Service.
•Problem Solving.
•Installation of Wireless Equipment and Turn-Key Solutions.
•Fault Finding and Rectification of Wi-Fi, FWA & IP Networks.
•Liaise with Customers and Colleagues on progress.
These services will be delivered to a range of clients, operating in Private, Public & Charity sectors.
Eligibility, Qualifications and Experience:-
•You must meet the Fife Youth Eligibility or the Youth Employment Scotland funding criteria.
•Higher qualifications would be an advantage but will consider all Candidates with qualifications at Standard Grade or National 4 Level in English, Maths, Science Subject, Computer Studies and/or Technology Studies.
•Must be prepared to work at heights – full training will be provided which is certified & meets health & safety legislation.
•Good communication & interpersonal skills.
•Able to work under pressure & deal with issues independently when required.
•Driving license is desirable.
•Competent at using various hand tools
•Computer literate.
